Hi all

When I do get my Octavia Estate, which roof bars are best; Thule, Mont Blanc, Prorack Whispbar, or any other suggestions. They will be use to carry 2 bikes.

I have seen a couple of Octavia's with Prorack bars and they do look good and very neat.

I've used Atera steel and aero bars and both are good. I replaced the steel bars because have T-tracks on the aerobars means you can use their full width, whereas with the steel bars its not possible to fit anything conflicting with the position of the foot packs.

I have two Atera Giro bike carriers and they are very robust and the fixing system means its easy to lift the bike onto the roof and secure it with one hand.

The best looking roof bars I've ever seen

I went with mont blanc as I managed to get a good deal. I didn't go for aero bars and to. E honest the noise is minimal plus you don't have to peal the rubber back to mount the bikes like my Dad has to on his

I've got the Skoda accessory roofbars with thule prorides for the bikes and a thule atlantis box for holidays. All seems to work well, no issues.

The whispbars do look good though..

Lidl have aero roof bars for under £30 £25 here.

I can't see why it makes sense to spend 5x that price on anything else.
