Can't find the answer to this anywhere on the net. Do I need to use XL rated (94) tyres for my 17" Pegasus wheels on my 2006 2.0tdi DSG (factory sports suspension) or will 91 do the trick. 225/45/17

Ask Skoda for correct size and rating for your car might be an idea?

Thanks Julie, is there any distinction between petrol/diesel or manual/DSG ??

The Skoda TUV tyre sizes document lists 225/45 R17 91W for the Octavia

The document is written in German, and the Octavia II section is split up by engine code. However, every 225/45/17 listed has a load rating of 91 regardless of engine code.
