EGR DELETE KITS

Featured Replies

I have a Skoda Octavia 1.9 TDI estate with a BKC series engine on an 05 plate.

This car has been sensational and ploughed up and down most autostradas and autobahns in europe, now has around 150,000 on the clock.

It is now however having EGR valve issues and I am considering fitting a Delete Kit or blanking plate rather than a replacement valve.

Does anyone have any experience of fiting these to BKC engines? Is it a simple job? Does it require a visit to have any warning lights turned off after fitting?

Any help much apprecaited

Best regards

Andy

If the original EGR valave has suited your needs so well and for so long I don't understand why you wouldn't replace like for like and enjoy another 'sensational' 150,000 miles!?

The reason he doesnt want to replace like for like is the price! EGR's arent cheap
