Hi i was reading on a site that some people put a turbo timer in there cars to give the turbo a longer life span. the thing i was wondering is it worth the money to get one fitted to my 2011 fabia vrs.

Turbo timers are a waste of money IMO. Just drive sensibly for the last mile or so of your journey. Plus the coolant pump carries on working after the ignition is off which helps to an extent.

They can also have implications on insurance like remote starting and alot of companies won't even entertain the idea of insuring you.
