Hi, I'm planning on changing front and rears pads this weekend, I've got the rear caliper rewind tool but I've been reading that I might also need a M14 spline to remove the carrier. My question is, do I need to remove the rear carrier to replace the pads or is that only required for changing the disc or a wheel bearing etc ?

I was thinking of doing my brakes soon. Will I need a specialist rewind tool or will a universal one from somewhere like euro car parts do?

You don't need the M14 spline to change the rear pads, it's only needed if you want to replace the disc.
