Shark - remap done.

Featured Replies

Had full Milltek and remap done on my VRS yesterday. Throttle response much better and much improved exhaust noise. Ben had it on the dymo and results showed that the DSG holds it back a little, but he can mod that to gain some 30 to 40 more torques. Recommended. Be back soon for brake and suspension mods.

Sounds good. Want to get mine done there too.

Dyno results?

Dyno results?

I left the dymo sheets by mistake down there!! Waiting for Ben to send them. Think it was 259 hp .

Woo! Thinking about having the exact same treatment on mine.

Good stuff. So yours was the Milltek being done yesterday :)

Whereabouts in Cheshire are you? Can we look forward to seeing at a monthly meet at some point? emoticon-0144-nod.gif

And torque?

Also you got TFSI or TSI? I cannot see your car as I am using my phone.

259bhp, from stage 2 will be a Tfsi, I would expect torque to be between 270 - 280lb/ft.

Don't mean to hijack but whats the difference between a TFSI & a TSI?

There are a few differences and improvements over the TFSi. The TSi is chain driven instead of a belt, it has an IHI turbo which is smaller than the K03 and iirc a high pressure fuel pump as standard. All this means that a stage 2 TSi will probably produce similar or more power than a stage 2+ TFSi.

They all have a HPFP as standard. The difference between them being

TFSI has a 130Bar HPFP that struggles to make 130Bar in the mid range hence the need to upgrade it for stage 2+

TSI has a 150Bar HPFP and doesnt need upgrading

Thanks. I honestly didn't know there was a difference. Really pleased to finally find out.
