Hi all. Just a quick note in case you were not aware.

If you ordered a made to order (not stock) Skoda before the 1st October.. you are likely to have been given a 15% reduction plus whatever discount you got from your dealer.

This changed on the 1st October to 20% on all the selected cars, not just the stockpiled ones. Had a chat with the dealer last week and he agreed to adjust the figures to 20% plus the discount percentage we agreed.

Ended up saving me around £600 on the originally agreed price. Hopefully this info will be useful to someone.

Picked up my 1.4tsi estate today in Steel Grey. Thanks all for the advice a few weeks ago when I was placing my order.

Just part of the information in the front page of skoda.co.uk 20% available from 1st October to the end of the year. The difference now is that they are including all built to order cars too... a decent dealer will switch you onto the other deal if you are in that position and save you a fair amount of cash. Hope someone else saves a bit too.

Similar happened to me,I ordered mine on the 20% deal in the spring, when mine was delivered hey we're doing 15% plus free servicing with finance packages, so my dealer done it so I retained the 20% discount but gained the free servicing, put it on annual to make sure I get he full 3 services during the term of the finance over three years. I find that soda dealers seem to be happy trying to do these little things to make buying a car a bit easier, where as other dealers I have used in the past from other manufacturers seem to be happy to stick rigidly to the deal you done even if something has changed no would be in your favour! It's little things like that that make the difference thumbs up to soda dealers :-)
