Superb cigarette lighter

Featured Replies

Hi to all I'm new on here and new to the marque,I have just got a Superb estate.

I have a couple of questions,

The cigarette lighter is powered all the time, is there a easy way of switching it with the ignition?

The remote has to be pressed twice to unlock all doors, but to change it to one press the manual states that it has to be carried out by a dealer ( Doesn't have the Maxidot computer) is there anyway I can change this myself?

thanks in advance.

Thanks

As said VCDS is your friend for changing the selective door unlocking (as well as MANY other tweaks  )

I thought the cigarette lighter powered down after a set amount of time (10 mins?) have you checked this?

Too be honest no, I will check tomorrow, if not may have to mod the wiring, thanks for that

regarding the door unlocking I will get that sorted on the first service.

I'm really impressed with the car so far it's my first Skoda, having come from VW's (same thing) although the 1.6 TDI is a bit under whelming, needs the 2.0 really, but then again it isn't run in yet!
