New Head Unit Needed

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

Need some info on head units. What sort of power shall I be looking at for a head unit? Will 50Wx4 be enough? I need a the best head unit, sound quality wise for around

You won't get any significant increase over that from a HU.

If you want more power then an amp will be needed.

For the short term I just want improved sound because I cant afford to upgrade speakers aswell yet. I just want a head unit which will be good enough later on to use when I get new speakers so I don't have to get another head unit when I upgrade later on.

If you know what I mean....

you interested in a kenwood mask unit and 10 cd changer both like new and boxed for 200 quid?

In that case look for one with that sort of power , and also outputs for at least one amp and a sub so you can add them at a later date if needed.

Whats a mask unit?

A mask unit hides itself when u turn ignition off. the unit is 4x45 watts got all the things u want 2 build on in the future. The cd changer holds 10 cd"s and can can show the cd title on the head unit. Like i say both like new and boxed with full instructions. :)
