Central locking

Featured Replies

I've had my Octy Estate painted under warranty (2nd time in 2 yrs) The tailgate, offside rear door and wing at Horton's in Lincoln.Rust was showing in all areas. I find now that I have to press the key fob twice ie unlock all the car to get in the driver's door. Is there a default setting and can I revert it to how it should be without going back to Horton's, I have no confidence in them to be honest. Regards Monkster.

I dont't know about anything that you can do yourself but I'd be finding someone local with VCDS who'll sort it for you for the cost of a few beer tokens.

if you have got maxi dot then you can do it yourself i think its under conveinience settings

First of all you need to ensure you have Maxidot...

(This picture applies to the pre-facelift only).

If you have Maxidot you can access the menus / settings by pressing the button on the underside of the wiper stalk.

As mentioned above the ability to turn on the 'one button opens all doors' is in the conveinience sub menu.

If you don't have Maxidot it will be a trip back to Horton's I'm afraid.
