Featured Replies

Hi, first sorry for bad english.

I want to change mileage on my Fabia 1.9SDI on tacho instrument. it is 2005. model.

I bought china copy VAG Tacho, http://www.dealextreme.com/p/vag-tacho-usb-vehicle-obd-cable-with-software-cd-28527 soft. version 3.01. i connected it, selected VDO NEW dash, connect ok, cannot get seed-key, ACCESS DENIED ! i have tried it multiple times.

so i try to select with different version of ECU, it doesnt work.

What dou you think, can i try with this :http://www.dealextreme.com/p/vag-k-can-usb-vehicle-obd-cable-with-software-cd-35935 it is working with VAG Commander 1.4 software ?

thanks

You can only change milage on new clocks, and only forwards, I think. To stop fraud.

Yes, but that is the limit if you use VCDS + VAG COM. VAG TACHO is for changing miles without limit

Why do you want to change it?

Why do you want to change it?

At a guess id say a new dash as that's what he has selected :giggle:

Hi

I have managed to buyVAG commander 3.6 K-line http://dx.com/p/vag-...i-vw-obd2-65785

I have connected it, choose K-line communication, then "instrument cluster/immobilizer"

--> choose VDO66 instrumentaciju,

--> Read

--> It reads current odometer value,

--> under the "Odometer" I type a new value (etc 10 000)

--> then click "Change"

--> It writes "write to eccu" successful

BUT STILL nothing changed on instrument table, same odo value ?

any help would be appreciated

Sorry but you'll get no help from anyone in here for your dodgy cloned lead/pirated software from DX. VagTacho isn't cheap (390 euro or £400) but like VCDS (£260ish) it's worth supporting and you could easily make your money back by offering SKC retrieval/mileage correction to others.
