I agrees, big change on mine too :)

I've remapped my last 2 cars and this Scout too. Power and Torque UP, Fuel Economy UP, FUN UP...

Do it!

Go for it , for sure.

has anyone had a remap done by elite? just wanted to know if they are any good? think they are uk chip tuning maps? mine is the 105 bhp. is it worth fitting a better air filter? if so which? ITG or PIPERCROSS?

If you have a re-map, is this "officially" recorded and does it then put your taxation class up a couple of notches?

The one thing I like about the 105 bhp engine is that it is tax band D and costs £100 per year for road tax, and in my humble opinion gives quite good performance as standard. Talking to a company a week ago about remaps, he said that from his experience, the 1.9 TDi quite often gives more than it admits to - perhaps 115 hp - when put on a dynomometer.

Still it must be fun when you have it first done! I must have a go in a 130 bhp, 2.0 Tdi again to see what it feels like. I cant imagine what a VRS is like.

Makes no difference. It's based on what it was rated coming out the factory.

You should try a remapped vRS it would blow your mind lol
