Hi!

I got the 2.0 FSI engine in my 2006 octavia and it has somekind of aluminium pipe, that comes from a black box-like thing between the engine and airfilter. Its open from the other side and attached to the "box" by somekind of springlike thing that now has a couple of holes in it. The engine has lately starting to make a wining/airsuction or beltwining noise and im trying to locate it can this be it?

The wine can be hearable from 2500rpm:s upwards.

By the looks of it it's a heating duct for warming up the air intake, not fitted to UK cars as far as I'm aware.

Ok that explains why I can´t find any information of it on the internet! Does anyone know the partnumber for it?
