Insurance premium hike

Featured Replies

I've just got my renewal premium through from Skoda Insurance. My premium has gone up by 26% emoticon-0149-no.gif

I have had not any accidents or any incidents or convictions.

Seriously not impressed. I rang our partners and IAM Surety and they are all more expensive ranging from £50 to hundreds more. More mainstream insurers won't even touch the car as it has a remap and flappy paddle MFSW fitted.

So it looks like Skoda are still the best insurance out there for me.

According to the pinned insurance area's I am in a E* area.emoticon-0106-crying.gif

Yep just had my renewal through for all the vehicles in our household, nothing special, an octy vrs, new beetle cabriolet, old battered ford fiesta and a 35 seat bus, all gone up from £1200 to a shade Nader £2000 not impressed at all, we have full no claims, I have 3 points, that are 4 years old so due to come off soon, so it's just getting silly!!!

Feel free to try the club insurers..

This has been happening for over a year now. Shop around, you'll find a better deal :)

I went with Sky, otherwise try Bell and Elephant.
