hi guys well i have a issue with the old bus being a bit flat ive replaced maf and cts and 2 breather pipes the main issue is between 2k and 3k it seems that it just bogging down if you let your foot off a bit it seems to try or sometimes missfires any ideas my friends ???

Coilpacks/Spark plugs maybe? Although when I had my 1.8T's and the coilpacks went they went in grand fashion, rather than just gentle misfiring...

May as well get em replaced for free on the recall, see the other thread. That may help.

Applies to my 51 plate but it all depends on what coil packs you have fitted I was told they will only change them if you have the older part number fitted if you already have the latest ones then they won't replace them

what the part number of the old ones just so skoda dont fob me off like they did with the anti corrosion

Clean the throttle body, & check the DV isn't leaking or sticking.

i will defo have a look at the throttle body when you say dv do you mean dump valve that should be fine just put a forge split r on it recirculating half

Yeah DV = diverter valve. I would put your DV on full recircle, & see what happens. I have a mate with a highly tuned Golf mkiv, & the car runs **** on split r DV if it isnt on full recirc.

Have you checked it for any fault codes? As said above set the DV to fully recirc instead of half and half (or get hold of a fully recirc one), also how many clicks have you got it set to? I think they need about 15 clicks or 18-20 if it's remapped otherwise the valve leaks boost at part throttle

No, TDi's have Glowplugs..

coil packs done massive difference with the car now all 4 done main stealers said they were all dodgey now on to hoses

hi just called them to say that i wanted the recall on the coil packs done they booked it in and replaced all four and cleaned the car if its a recall i dont think they can refuse
