Featured Replies

hi folks, has anybody got a cone filter fitted to thier octavia or golf or whatever which has a 1.8T engine??

how much noisier is it over the standard airbox and filter? much against my better judgement i have to use one on my felicia, but i wanted it to be a bit more oem looking and stealthy. cant fit the mk4 golf airbox under the bonnet..

so im just interested to here poeples experience of having one on thier car... legend

I have a jabbasport induction kit on mine with a jetex cone filter and its alot louder than standard airbox

Do you get any whistling when the turbo is spooking up? Etc

I'm trying to avoid drawing to attention to the car tbh.

Yeah and the valve chattering when you lift off aswell

thanks.. i did suspect that the re-circ valve would be audible too being so close to the air filter housing.. i think i'm going to have to figure out a way of damping the sound out because it will drive me mad whistling and popping all the time :wonder:
