If you've got leather seats it might be the leather rubbing against the plastic trim at the lower left and right hand sides. Try a bit of Vaseline...

Hi @Shuggy81uk I've got a driver's side 2016 electrically heated, electrically-adjustable but NOT electrically folding, right hand driver's mirror assembly for sale on eBay, ex my now-sold vRS estate. I fitted electrically folding mirrors to that hence this is available. There is a picture on the eBay listing of the connector. Search for "genuine Skoda Mk3 vRS right hand driver's wing mirror assembly - black". It has got six wires: yellow, white, red, black/blue, black/red and white/brown. This might assist you! Cheers

NOW SOLD Make & Model: Skoda Octavia vRS TDi DSG 4x4 Estate Colour: Quartz grey metallic Mileage: 61295 (might increase slightly) Price: £15800 Description: V5 is in my name and car garaged every night. I’ve owned it since October 2021 at 49k miles and have the history of previous owners and changeover dates. Condition: Overall in excellent condition inside and out, apart from the usual minor age-related marks. No panel damage or any car park dings. Service History/Receipts/Recent Service work: Full service history, with everything done when it was required. Service history can be checked online and I have every receipt since I’ve owned it and many from previous owners. All Skoda original books are present. Cam belt and water pump were replaced at 44000 miles. DSG oil was changed at 46000 miles. Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres fitted all round at 49700 miles, now at 61000 miles with at least 4.4mm minimum remaining. Hunter 4 wheel alignment done when tyres were replaced. Most servicing in my ownership has been done by Sunset VW in Derby. January 2022 service included brake fluid change, Haldex oil change and transfer box oil change, all at 50500 miles. Rear brake pads replaced in November 2022. January 2023 service was oil and filter. New Yuasa battery fitted recently. Negative points - steering wheel right-hand switch cluster has a loose cover but all operates correctly; both rear lower suspension arms have some corrosion (advisory on last MOT which was September 2022 at 55000 miles). Wheels are not bad at all but do have some lacquer coming off and a couple of other marks. @Del07 I just retrofitted folding mirrors on my 2016 VRS. All secondhand parts from various sources. I followed @SashaGrace detailed instructions and they were very helpful, might be worth a look to make sure all coding is complete. I used OBDeleven. Related subject - my mirrors now fold and unfold out of sync! Tried disabling and re-enabling mirror folding in driver and passenger door modules but no joy - anyone got any suggestions please?

Have never had any screen issues, before or after (so far!)

It does look better but I am planning on upgrading display in future to bigger 8” facelift version and will be able to make use of the APP button on that

Big shout out to @East_Yorkshire_Retrofits who have successfully update my MIB2 Amundsen from 0253 firmware to 0480. All works great and I now have the later menus, working on the original 6.5” screen with no errors. A very professional service.

Good question, easy answer - just bought the car and they were fitted! I’m mulling over changing to standard 225/35 but as you suggest will probably go for 235/35 for a bit more rim protection. Best price I’ve found today is around £530 all in from Costco which is pretty good I think for Michelin PS4S (inc £100 off Michelin offer)

Tyres are 225/45 R19, see pic. No evidence of scrubbing, tyre depth 4.5mm front, 5.5mm rear after around 8k miles. I do like the overall look but fitting 35 profile ie OEM standard would still look good I think on the 19” wheels.
