rear bumper removal

Featured Replies

hi every one i am new to the skoda world and i have got a mint octavia silverline 1.9 tdi and i must admit i love it best car i have ever had i have just got a tow bar so i can take my stepson out on his motorbike i have got him for xmas could anyone please help me with how i get the rear bumper off as i have being told its hard and is there any thing to worry about

If its a mark 1 octavia then it's so easy to fit a tow bar, I figured mine out and was finished in an hour and half with the electrics. To remove the bumper there is lots of torx bolts behind the black plastic strip on the bumper. Also by the rear mud flap, and again behind the plastic trim that is underneath the rear lights, this is clipped in. Once you have all the torx bolts done there will be 2x 10mm bolts on each side of the rear quarter panels. You get to these from inside the boot. Hope this helps
