car sold - facelift VRS TSI estate wanted

Featured Replies

as the tittle to be honest.

I advertised my alfa this morning - sold at 3pm!

so i'm either in the market for a cheap run around for a few months for a new one or a second hand one now.

ideally with full leather and xenons - the rest I can do without! DSG or manual - again not fussed.

don't particularly like the race blue but there's lots of them about and cheapish!

if you have one for sale let me know!

Oh I do! Been pondering about what specs etc for months.... Just didn't quite expect a 130k mile alfa to sell so quickly in this depressed market!

I was just about to order a new one but this one came up this week.

candy white estate vrs petrol - full leather, xenons tinted rear and Dsg -6,000m on the clock on a 11 plate for £17k

Didn't really want Dsg but the revo / shark remap of it sounds much better than standard.

DSG is amazing IMO. You had DSG before?

How much?!! I paid £18k for mine new!!!!

Had Dsg back in 2004 on an a3 tdi - got confused and reved beyond the powerband. It was good but needed better software

£18k with that spec? Closest I could get (drivethedeal) with the same spec was £19500 and 3 month waiting. £2500 in my pocket - nice holiday (or remap.... Etc etc)

I'm on a promise to myself not to modify at all for a year - I get carried away very easily.... Good example was getting talked into 400bhp not being enough in a Holden Hsv - £3k later 530bhp - Doh!

Now you lot have worried me ive double checked....

Same spec via drivethedeal comes in at £20256.

Dtd saving was £5368! So £8k saving over list price - £1.40 per mile depreciation if you were silly enough to pay list price.... Ouch

we need piccies :)

How do I do that then? Posting pictures on forums confuses the hell out of me! Doesn't help when I use in iPhone as well.
