Test drove the VRs again

Featured Replies

phoned my local dealer (Newmarket Garage (Bannockburn) asked if they had any VRs in they have 2 a Y plate with 40k miles on it in silver for 8k

and an 04 plate with every extra attached for 13k

took the Y plate out as that is the year Iam looking for. had it for an hour and i have to say i loved it my first test drive was only a short one with a salesperson beside me, this garage gave me the car to test drive on my own, so i had a bit more freedom as where to take it and how to drive it.

went over the roads i drive everyday, backroads/main and motorway and i found the car not to be to keen on he single lane backroads but once onto b roads and bigger the car was very eager to perform.

passing other cars where i normally cant was also a joy.

one thing I noticed is that the turbo lag is greater than i expected, but then only other turbo cars i have driven were highly tuned nissan 200sx's about 500bhp lol great fun in rear wheel drive :)

dont think the salesperson was to happy when i went back bcause the car was real dirty, and told himn the car was still runnin because i didnt want to turn the turbo off strait away :D:D

can u tell i am pleased with the car :D:D:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::rolleyes:

why are you looking for a Y reg?? you can pick up 51 plates and 53 and 03 plates for not alot more then 8K these will be face lift models and IMO look better...
