Does anyone have any idea what this is? I found it last week on my front-left alloy. It's not on any of the other wheels.

Actually they are not..Both edges are used

Depends on how they are balanced, our machine at work can balance with weights on one edge, also has a fancy setting to split the weights so they can be hidden behind spokes.

True, ironically it's a Beisbarth wheel balancer we have that Skoda recommended.

Mine are the same colour as the alloy (silver) not shiny lead so do not stand out

Pretty sure the weights are zinc now not lead.

We also have black ones for black alloys
