Im thinking of putting some 17inch octavia vRS wheels on my fabia.

What is involved? I hear i have to get 4 new tyres????

What size tyres should i be shopping for???

Is anyone on here selling any?

Will it knock handling, speedo etc out any? Is there anything i shoulkd be wary of???

I am keeping the 16 inchers as i want to return it to standard when i has finished with it and sell it on (i thinK!!!)

From my brief experience running lowered suspension and 17s, I have noticed that the ride is pretty hard and jiggly. Not so much that the girlfriend moans, but it's not a magic carpet. Handling does seem tight round corners. However, from previous experience, I imagine handling will not be as good on uneven/rough surfaces - less give in the tyre sidewalls maybe???

However, you do get a fantastic look, decent enough ride quality on all but the worst roads and I have actually found that tyre noise has reduced with the new tyres I have fitted (Kumho Ecsta Sport KU31). For me, it was the right choice.
