Could anybody help after not finding a workshop manual,haynes type,i need help with the following on a 1999 Octavia 110bhp TDi:-

1/ Oil and filter change cannot find a traditional screw in type filter.

2/ Rear disc and pad change.Do you do them as i do on my Peugeot take the pads out,how,and just push the piston back or doe this cause problems with the seals,master cylinder etc.

3/ Has anyone had the front jacking points bent almost falt by the main dealer.I am on my second time now.

You will need a special tool to wind the pistons back. Halfords sell a suitable Sykes Pickavant one. Bent jacking points are unfortunately rather common - and a dealer should know better!
