My VRS now at a Bristol dealer near you...

Featured Replies

Well my VRS is now being advertised at £8k, a grand more than I wanted for it :)

I'll see if anyone can spot it. I took the CAT section to them today as I forgot to take it when I picked up my new car (we're not talking about that just yet) and promised I would drop it in. Not 100% convinced they know what they have as when I mentioned that he wouldn't be able to get an MOT without it I got a blank look! Nice bunch of guys though so I hope they can shift it.

Wonder how long it will be before a) it's sold and b ) someone comes along here wondering why the clutch is so heavy!

Yes I did tell them exactly what the exhaust was all about simply because it's quite difficult to hide and I didn't know whether they were going to get the car checked over before agreeing to the deal - very trusting considering it's a fair lump of money being traded in, all they did was HPI it and ask whether the cam belt had been done.

We're moving house shortly which is going to mean 3 hours in the car each day so I've done the unthinkable and bought a diesel. Going from my VRS to the diesel version would have broken my heart so I've gone for a top spec Honda Accord in the hope that all the toys will distract me from the performance - not really working so far unfortunately.

Thats sad having to give up your car like that, I hope you come to like the Honda but I'm sure you will be back in a Skoda at some point  I know I was
