hi, ive had my 1.4mpi over a year, cured most of the common faults, but i noticed my headlamps flickering and an intermittent..woop woop sound with it, ive figured it isnt a healight problem as i have traced the sound directly below the battery, but i cant see what is under there is the pas sensor there or could it be something else?..ive also noticed a rattle on start up in cold weather, i know the timing chain rattles which doesent concern me,could it be furher stretched or could it be something else..regards jim

Power steering pump etc is under the battery. I believe it is common for a dying battery to cause such issues. Not sure if the sound means anything though.
