REVO map

Featured Replies

Looking at getting my Hybrid VRS mapped in the next few weeks, there is a company across the road from where i work who deal with REVO and can map my car in a day.

Ive read a lot about mapping/custom mapping etc and the REVO ones seem to be the more harsh one available according to members here.

Does anyone have a dyno printout of a VRS mapped by REVO to see?

Thanks in advance :)

It's been reported on the forum that REVO is fine, BUT, there is a nasty torque spike in their maps which can help the clutch on it's way more quickly than other reputable mapping companies.

To my knowledge Revo don't do remaps for larger turbos.

I've heard about these torque spikes, that's the reason why I wanted to see a graph.

I spoke to the REVO dealer and he did say there maps aren't specifically for hybrid turbos but a stage 2 should map accommodate one.

So you're going to spend all the money on a hybrid, and then buy an expensive Revo remap that isn't specifically written but "should" work? £400 or thereabouts at Shark, and not only will it be specifically written for a hybrid, it'll be specifically written for YOUR hybrid.

Revo don't do a stage 2 for diesels.

It's listed as a "request" item on their latest price list. So they probably do via mobile tuners or by emailing logs/maps back and forth. But your standard Revo dealer probably won't be able to do it "on the spot".

Same as me and lots of others on here do, because we get great service and great value. We also, as a little extra bonus get the wealth of knowledge from one of the best VAG Master tech`s in the country. Alistair run`s one of few honest "no bull****" garages, it took me 3 years to find one and i`v used a fair few. The fact he has customers from all over the country speaks volumes about his service along with the fact me, luke and others "big him up" at every chance. You should swing by if your ever in need of anything car related, its very refreshing in terms of garage service.

NB, I`m not slating other garages, I know there others people highly recommend and sorry for going OT lol

Perfect, Unit 18 is literally 60 seconds up the road

Oh right. Just seen a thread on SCN that kev replies to saying it has to be requested from the dealer.
