Rear windscreen heater-

Featured Replies

I have noticed the the rear windscreen heater on my not long purchased 58 (pre facelift) Octavia vRS turns off very quickly - within 60s or so. This seems way too quick to me, is this a known problem at all? Easy fix?

Cheers :)

60 secs certainly isn't right, by default they are usually 10 minutes. If you can find someone nearby with a VCDS you can change the time setting to any amount you like. I changed mine from 10 to 15 minutes as the window wasn't quite clearing fully in 10.

Dealer took a brief look when I was in for another issue this afternoon, and booked it in for next Monday under warranty. Will see what happens!
