Oil pressure light sender

Featured Replies

Ok I bought myself a set of 3 gauges and attacked my car with spanners over the weekend to fit 'em.

All was going well until I got to the point when I needed to remove the sender that feeds the oil pressure warning light. Basically I cant get the flippin connecter off it - I need to remove the sender and replace it with a pressure gauge sender u see...

Anyone know how to get the connector off it? I've pulled it, prodded it, felt for clips, stuck my screwdriver in it and it won't budge, so I'm thinking there must be a knack to it that I don't have.

Cheers!

Part of the problem is its tight to get to with all the pipes and wires. Im sure it just clips on but cant really see it clearly. Might try to get a mirror down there or undo the sender a bit so i can see the other side of the connector.
