Possible dying battery and ESP error

Featured Replies

This morning the car started quite sluggish, and ESP fault showed up on dash for a split second. Wonder if the low voltage did this? I always start the car with foot on brake. Might do a scan if it happens again.

What caused your battery to go low?

Starting the engine with the brake lights on!

Mine did the same thing a few times and I took it to the dealer for a check, and they replaced the battery under warranty as it wasn't holding charge properly (not that there was any other symptoms of this visible).
