Seat belt bolt and carrier replacement

Featured Replies

In a brief moment of madness I managed to knacker up the drivers side seatbelt bolt which attatches to the top of the pillar.

Skoda have quoted me 87 quid or something like that for replacement and fitting of the bolt and the carrier bit.

How easy would it be for me to fit it myself?

Cheers in advance

Any ideas gents :(

I think it wouldn't be too hard - I remember undoing the one on my wreck - now sold though. Its trim removal which will be the biggest pain I suspect.

I have to ask though... How'd you manage it?

Being a tit basically, I was in a rush to get it back together as I needed to be somewhere, it started to cross thread and once it had done it a little bit there was no going back :(

I've taken all the trim off my car before that not the issue its more of whether I can fix the new bolt and slide by myself
