Intermittent MS202 Radio

Hi,

The radio (MS202) in my 2001 Fabia keeps switching itself off. Before now, the way I used to fix this was to simply switch it off and back on again. Recently, I have found the only way to fix it is to take the radio out - disconnect the loom - reconnect the loom and it seems to work again. Sometimes I have to leave the loom disconnected longer than others in order for the radio to power up again.

I have checked the fuse on the back and the what I believe to be the correct one in the fuse box and still no joy.

Is anybody able to shed some light on possible causes for this?
