Yes this seems to be a "thing" that this engine does, not just in the Yeti, but throughout the VAG family. I have never seen a full explanation for it, or a "cure". When it does it on mine I lift my foot and then press it again immediately; problem solved.

On my second Monster (140 then 110 4x4)and I've experienced this on occasion with both of them. Think it's just the electronic wizardry getting momentarily confused with itself.

Many thanks thought it was a fault, it's not a complaint coz I love the Yeti was just curious. Thanks for the speedy replies. I have a road trip booked from NI to Hull in January so hoping for snow - trying to convince HWMBO that we need winter tyres - back me up guys - I'm the petrolhead
