Love my skoda but it's gettin on my nerves

Featured Replies

Hello, i currently have a 54plate superb 1.9tdi,the car is the best i've owned, however the engine management light is illuminated and a warning regarding the emissions is also lit.The performance has dropped dramatically along with the m.p.g, when i put my foot down the car doesn't accelerate like it should and struggles to reach 30mph,a very slight hill and it's down to around 15mph, on the motorway it can reach 60mph Eventually, i have noticed when starting occasionally the engine revs are high then immediately drop to the normal level.Otherwise the car is in excellent condition and i am reluctant to replace it. The vehicle has 108000 miles with a non franchised history and all mots to very the mileage. ALL HELP OR INFO IS GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Does it have a DPF ? if it does then you need to see a dealer asap.

Hi and welcome aboard.

Going into limp mode, get it to a dealer, or someone with the correct diagnostic tools ASAP :)
