Hello, and - Boot Liners

Featured Replies

Hi there!

New to the forums and new to the Yeti, I have an ex demo 2.0 TDI CR SE+ coming on Thursday and am very excited!!

Just had a question about boot liners. I am an avid kitesurfers and regularly filled my old car with loads of wet, sandy, sharp equipment and as a result caused deterioration to the internal finish. I have seen a few boot liners that are available for the Yeti but wondered what the owners use and rate.

The best I have seen so far is:

Any info is gratefully received.

Cheers,

Chris

hi mate and welcome to the forum

on the subject of boot liners we currently have a Genuine Skoda rubber boot liner in the yeti and it fits great and seals the boot floor from anything we may throw in there including the dog

But on the subject of the titan boot liners i have ordered from these people

http://www.justroadster.com/index.html

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Custom-Boot-Liner-Skoda-Yeti-2009-onwards-waterproof-quality-fitted-/260872541927?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3cbd3716e7#ht_1450wt_986

And were getting it in black and got them to adjust the boot liner for our greenline yeti as the boot floor is about 5 inches lower than standard boots because of the lack of any type of spare wheel.

we have about one to two weeks to go for delivery as it takes them 4 weeks to actually make the liner.

Also give them a ring as they will give you a slightly cheaper price over the phone than they will do on there website or ebay page mine cost somewhere around a 100 with the bumper protector

When ours arrives ill get pictures up and also do a review on how well it works.

Welcome Chris

Don't forget that there is a whole wide world out there of Skoda's and everything else you can possibly think of on Briskoda, (including an introduce yourself section....emoticon-0136-giggle.gif)

I only put muddy bicycles in the back of Elsie the Helipad. (using there internal bike carrier)

I use 2 Skoda genuine rubber mats. no problems so far.

Hi Chris, welcome to the group.

It;s a good idea to protect the inside of the boot, and when I used to SCUBA dive a dive buddy of mine used a HUGE plastic bucket type thing he just shoved BCD, tank and drysuit into to keep the boot of his Merc fry.

You will LOVE the Yeti and it has some GREAT characteristics

Thanks for all the help. Shall look forward to hearing what you have to say on yours Yetigreenline. I think I will be going for something similar as I want to put it in the boot and leave it there.

Chris

My Yeti arrives on Wednesday.

I ordered my boot liner and mats from these people so I'll let you know when I've fitted them!!
