ET43 over 312mm calipers?

Featured Replies

Im looking at getting some more wheels for the winter so my polished comps dont get ruined. Ive found some wheels that will do the job, but i think the offset is 43 on a 16" wheel! Will this be too tight to fit over the 312 calipers? I know the lower ET the better clearance.

I cant think of the standard wheels ET.

standard wheels are et35. . .can't answer as to if the et43's will fit tho. . .

Steelies are et42

While the offset is an important factor, The design and width of the rim plays it's part too!

Just incase anyone in the future needs to know, ET42, 6.5j wheels just clear 312mm brakes. Id say ET43 would too, but i cant comfirm that. Just got me some winter alloys which are 42 ;)
