I am looking into getting a fault code reader preferably one that reads and resets everything like engine light,abs etc i would get vagcom but unfotunatly i do not have a laptop and the main reason i would like a code reader is to save money id rather not foot the cost of a laptop and then software ontop i i could.help it hence looking for a stand alone unit.

Why not try ebay seen basic readers for between £20 to £30 not used them but might do you for basics
