Bolero bt audio streaming help

I've also posted this in ice section with no response so perhaps someone UB here could help.

I can't get my HTC Hero to play music via bt through Bolero. The phone connects perfectly and shows phonebook and call lists but I cannot get the bt to highlight in the media player.

This is strange because the phone is fully compatible with vw RNS 510 ( Columbus) in our Golf.

Can someone advise please
