Anyway popped in to PC world for a browse a couple of days ago and ended up walking out with n HP all in one. 3.3 gig i3, 4 meg RAM 1TB HD and 23" touchscreen. a real doodle to set up :)

just need to load all programmes and transfer files :(

They seem all the rage at the minute....some good bargains on AIO's on Dell Outlet over the last few weeks for around £4-500.

Use Windows Easy Transfer for your files and profile. Run it on the new PC to get the transfer program onto a mem stick or portable hard drive and then just run that file on the Old PC.

Can do it over a network cable too if you have one.

Hoping you didn't get suckered into Norton? If not then install Microsoft Security Essentials and remove all the 'free' cr@p and trials off it to speed it up.

Also in the search box when clicking on 'start' type in MSCONFIG and literally remove everything in the startup tab and you will find it runs a lot faster when booting! (don't untick the AntiVirus though ;))

****y Wierd (facepalm). I hope they didnt con you into paying for an extended warranty and tech support package.
