New owner with window probs

Featured Replies

Hi - firstly apologies if this has been asked :(

Just purchased from a private sale a week ago a lovely W reg silver 1.4 100bhp comfort fabia. Was lovely until I cam back to it today after being parked in my local supermarket to find the 2 front electric windows fully open but the car still locked. I thought I was going mad and had opened them but it then did it again :( what is the fix please ?? It isn't remote

Central locking so I'm not leaning on a button accidentally.

Many thanks

The windows go up/down when you hold the key in the open/close position.

It's not something simple like the key sticking in the unlock position and taking the windows down is it? Although I'd expect you'd notice that as it doesn't take long to start happening.

Welcome, also. :)
