Delay not caused by the dealer in this instance, but by the lease company. :(

My current vehicle lease ends in March (leased through my company car scheme), and they encouraged me to order the Yeti early due to the long production waiting list. But it seems my build was straightforward - 1.4 SE with heated screen and ESP - so it has reportedly already arrived.

I've been told I must continue to "enjoy" my Ford until March whilst the Yeti is parked up in the dealer's compound. I do fully understand the delay and in fairness I will get a 12 plate vehicle. And I have no complaint as they are simply sticking to the terms of the agreement I signed up to. But surely this delay must qualify for being more frustrating than waiting for a build date................. almost within touching distance but yet so far!!

Interesting, I'm in the same state, My current Mondeo lease ends on the 8th march 2012, My Yeti Greenline is on order with a stock date of 24th February. Dealer asdvises I should get it around the 8th but expect it a few days later.

Yes, a frustratingn wait it can be.

We were told Yeti built Week 47 - Arrived Emden 1st Dec - Shipped 12th Dec - 15th in the UK - no date yet as to when it will land with Dealer! I'd be pleasantly surprised if we do get it for Christmas.

hope mine shipped quicker dealer told me mine at port and takes about 10 days to arrive at dealers
