PAS Fault, but not the usual codes?

I was gearing up to change the fault steering angle sensor, however, id like confirmation that its correct.

these codes will not clear.

Central elec-

3 Faults Found:

00511 - Selector Lever (E313)

49-00 - No Communications

00778 - Steering Angle Sensor (G85)

49-00 - No Communications

01324 - Control Module for All Wheel Drive (J492)

49-00 - No Communications

I've seen this a few times before, recode the gateway to exactly the same code it has now, this will refresh its installation list. The above faults relate to modules which your car doesn't have, automatic, ESP & four wheel drive.

The coding doesn't seem right to me, can you post an autoscan of the car? I've just looked at a few Fabia autoscans and most of them are coded 00014, which breaks down as:

00002 ABS + 00004 Airbags + 00008 Steering aid (the ekectronic PAS) = 00014

I see the problem, you're looking at the central electrics 09. You need to code the CAN gateway.

Go into address 19, coding 07 and enter the same code 00014. That should then get rid of the codes as shown in post 1.

I've removed your VIN and immobiliser details.

Well, seems to have worked, it's allowed me to delete the codes, so shall see if the PAS light comes on again..

Hello i had the same fault codes  than i follow these instructions and now my abs light is on but i dont have abs modul at all in my fabia. Please help

That is gateway (19), it is coded incorrectly for a vehicle with ABS.

What should i do now? When ignition is on i have abs and brake light on than long beep. How to disable that?

Re-code Gateway so it's not looking for an ABS control unit that's not there (minus 00002 from the coding)
