Took the car in to ask for an apparent light clutch judder, (a topic raised previously), to be looked at. The only time they had before Christmas to look at it was impossible for me to make. So I decided to leave it until the annual service in January.

Had a wander round the showroom and walked out two and a half hours later having placed a deposit on a stock Yeti.

A fool and his money....etc!

Nice, no snow issues for you this winter! Mine is going in for a week in the new year to get to the bottom of the juddering problem. Ill keep you posted, not, by the sounds of it and your new car, you particually care!

I changed my Octavia 2.0tdi 140pd DSG L&K estate for a Yeti DSG diesel Elegance.

I have not regretted it once. Love the slightly higher driving position.

I have the 'lecky' seat option and find the seat perfect for spending hours a day in it.

The only downside is the boot space compared to the Octavia. The Yeti is comparable to others in class. The Octavia boot is massive, even compared to my previous 5 series touring.

I no longer need the boot space, and anyway you just learn to pack vertically.

The 4x4 is brilliant, especially when matched with winter tyres. It will go round corners faster in the wet than most cars, which is fun!

I've now had mine for a year and 15,000 miles. I still love getting in and driving it, even if it is around South London. I had to wait 5 months, which wasn't too bad compared to many people.

I had gone into look at a Superb, but really thankful I didn't go for one as they are 2' longer than my Yeti, which makes it so easy to park around London. Speaking of which the Park Assist is amazing. I use it loads. :-) its better than me at parking.

I am interested to find out if this is a common problem with the 7 speed DSG, and so I will keep looking on the site
