vRS LPG conversion.

Featured Replies

I currently have a Mk1 vRS. One of the meain reasons I bought it was that I do about 25-30,000 miles a year and the fuel ecomony was good. My 07 reg car is now well into 6 figure mileage and I am thinking it might be time to change.

I quite fancy a new vRS estate but was wondering if anyone has had an LPG conversion fitted and what their thoughts on it are?

Many thanks

id imagine its possible... would be interesting to know cause it would mean i could enjoy turbo a bit more haha.

Hopefully someone comes along, although not sure why you would bother - I know the MPG maybe better and its cheaper but surely not worth the hassle on this type of car thats reaonsable already on MPG and emissions ?

Just wondered.

Good luck with it though, if you do decide to go ahead.

Fairly sure this got asked a bit back and the answer was no, not sure of the reason though.

LPG Conversion

The car is quite good on longer runs - its only in town and when hooning you lose out MPG wise.

I think there are better uses for whatever the conversion would cost, especially at the moment with relatively depressed markets. Also a Monte with the 20% off might be worth a look (not estate though).

True - the VAT offer is not on the vRS so makes it more expensive. My local dealer have a lovely Race Blue vRS Estate in at the moment :) I'm even tempted lol
