Had the vRS for a couple of weeks now and very happy with it although still getting used to DSG and not really been able to play much due to the weather! One thing I do not like though are the plastic and very flimsy feeling inner door releases. The old Elegance Estate I had had nice solid metal ones, these ones feel as if I'm going to break them everytime I use them. The other thing I am disliking is the loud clunk when you switch on high beams, really doesn't sound right, is this normal or am I being paranoid

Still drooling over a stage 1 remap, probably wait till the better weather and when my insurance comes up for renewal rather than pay my insurers admin charge to make any changes!

Agreed on both parts, especially the light switch

I believe the inner door handles on the MK2 Fabia operate a switch rather than a rod/cable and therefore are not so 'robust'.

Agree on the inner door handles - look very cheap and half expect them to come away in my hand.

Still, that's a very, very minor grumble, as I'm very happy with the rest of the car .
