Saab goes under again

Featured Replies

A sad day. Always had a soft spot for Saabs. I always felt that it was a shame that GM didn't invest in them properly but just slapped Saab badges on their own mediocre machines.

Its only what ford did to volvo, took all the best bits and technology and then sold them

Volvo are still here though

sad day indeed :(

Volvo are still here though

Volvo are Chinese now.

It was only a matter of time really.

That's why you've have to be a bit bonkers to buy one.

I seem to remember Auto Express had a 9-5 on the fleet and they couldn't get a windscreen, a reader couldn't get a headlight for months... :(

I do quite fancy a new shape 9-5...

Yes a sad day indeed

Over the years I've owned a Saab96---Saab900---and a Saab9000--they were great ,quirky well built motors--never the same since GM got their hands on them

Maybe someone will take them on and restablish the brand as it once was
