i have got a niggle with my car, when headlights have been left on or indicator when parking, alarms should tell you that they have been left on, mine aint working. Also door light not working, is this all connected and does any one else have or has had this problem?

not had the problem myself but this sounds like theres either a blown fuse somewhere or the same sensor that operates the interior light does the alarm as well and isnt functiining as it should.

quick call in to a dealers should see you right.

I have the same problem. Various people have suggested cures on THIS thread. I haven't got around to sorting mine yet so left my lights on the other day

Hmm - you do know that the key has to be out of the ignition altogether, even if it is just sitting at the OFF position, the noise doesn't seem to come out.

Not sure what you mean about the door light? Do you mean the overhead courtesy light? You have to slide it along to the right for that to come on when the door is open, but I'm not sure that's what you mean... If it's a light on the actual door then could it be maybe just the bulb is away?

Had my Octy in today to have a fault mended.... i noticed that when i opened the rear door the interior light didnt come on and nor did the door open light and when using the lock button inside the car it set then unset..... something in the door switch had gone so the car didnt recognise the door.... what im leading to here is thats whats proberbally happened to your drivers door hence no alarm or light when door is opened.

Fix was done in no time.

will have to make an stop at the dealers, will keep you posted as to what it is. what i meant by the door light was the light on the door itself. which knowing me prob is a bulb LOL
