After the dealer said it would be a while before they could deliver my car, I decided to get it myself......which meant me travelling from High Wycombe to Lancashire.

So after 5 hours on 3 different trains, I got to Simpsons in Colne and picked up my brand new Black Magic Furby....which meant I had a 250 mile drive home. Such a distance in my old car would've knackered me but the Skoda was a total pleasure all the way

The dealer also told me that my car was one of the first to have an anti-reflective section on the top of the dash to reduce glare....always handy. What it needs to do is reduce the glare of the brake lights of the cars in front as I surge towards them........!

Anyway, next step is to fit my new stereo (a Blaupunkt Woodstock DAB 54) - hopefully my local Skoda dealer will do it as I'm not confident enough to do it myself......
