Got the standard sound system in the Superb, which according to the brochure has "8 loudspeakers".

I can locate 6 of them, but where are the other 2 or am I missing something? 2 each in the rear doors (1 up near the centre pillar and the other in the opposite corner masked by the rear seat squab) then 1 each in the front doors.

Are there in fact 2 in the front doors behind the grille?

Just curious - sound is quite good to be honest, very nearly spec'd the upgraded sound system but considering I just have the stock system the sound is very good (and I've had my fair share of decent setups in the past!)

There are 2 speakers in each front door. A bass low down near the back of the door and a tweeter just in front of the door handle and behind the central locking switch.

Agree with you in that the sound quality is not bad and IMO an improvement on my VRS

in the upgraded system there are 3 speakers in each front door. Tweeter and Bass speaker are in the same place, and there is an additional midrange located between the 2.
