Hi I brought a x reg fabia yesterday for my girlfriend. Few problems didn't notice when test driving it or looking over it. The power steering goes hard for a split second at random times? Also rev counter was bouncing about on tick over after starting? Any ideas for a simple fix? Thanks

Welcome along, posting this in the Fabia section rather than general chat might get a better response, also in that section is quite a long thread on the Fabia PAS system and known issues.

With regards to the engine idle bouncing, idle shakes are pretty common on the 8v, not normally a problem but might need a throttle reset if too bad.
