Rear windows don't stay up :(

Featured Replies

Hi all i'm pretty sure it's a common fault but my rear windows seem to intermitantly lower on there own it's only a little but annoying when your can here a wisper of road noise and when you wash it and get water in throught the window :( and cures?

Bit of string tied around the window winder and the grab handle?

Assuming no-one uses the rear seats of course.

Take the handles off, the back collar slides to one side and they pull off.

See if it makes a difference, if it does put the handles back on in the straight down position, bet they don't drop then.

if the handles are to the side when you go over bumps the window works its way down if they are straight down should be ok
